Career Orientation Platform

The Challenge

FindMe needed a modern, user-friendly mobile platform that would revolutionize how students discover apprenticeships and career opportunities. Traditional job fairs and application processes were outdated and created barriers for young people entering the workforce. The platform needed to connect students, parents, teachers, and companies in a seamless digital experience while maintaining privacy through semi-anonymous profiles.

Our Solution

We developed the FindMe mobile application from the ground up using Ionic and Angular, delivering a cross-platform solution for both iOS and Android. The app features innovative functionality including digital profile cards (Visitenkarte), a personal dashboard (Mein Cockpit) for tracking applications, career ambassador connections, and integrated video content from employers. After securing funding, we supervised the outsourced development of version 2, ensuring code quality, architecture decisions, and coordinating development reviews.

The Result

We delivered a fully functional cross-platform application that was published on both the App Store and Google Play. The platform was recognized with the R56+ Award for innovation in the 'Living and Working' category and received support from the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Education. The app enabled digital career orientation days and provided all planned features. Despite the technical success, the startup ultimately faced market adoption challenges.
